Yesterday was my 24th birthday, and it was absolutely wonderful! Steph, Andrew and I picked up some yummy coffee from Java Mama, then headed to SE Portland for lunch at the Mac and Cheesery. For dessert, we hit up the always wonderful Saint Cupcake. I had to go to class for a couple hours, which I really didn't mind doing on my birthday, since it's my favorite class ever! Afterwards, Andrew's mum picked us up for a delicious dinner at Stanfords, complete with birthday creme brulee! Then we relaxed at home with some Doctor Who episodes. Altogether, it was a lovely birthday!

And it's exciting that I still have my birthday party next week to look forward to! Even more exciting: my wonderful fantastic amazing mother's birthday gift to me is: MY ROCKET SHIP TATTTOO. I've been thinking about it and wanting it for a long time, and I am ecstatic that I can finally get it!

This is one of those outfits that made me happy just wearing it. Lots of purple and pretty colors and delicious desserts! My school notebook also just happened to match it perfectly.

Apparently I really like dresses with ice cream cones on them, as this is the second one I've bought recently. And this one has huge (actually-functional!) pockets. I'm getting more into lighter colors lately. I distinctly remember just a year or so ago when I wore pretty much all black or darker clothing. It's nice to branch out a bit and wear whites/pastels, though I find myself being paranoid the whole day about spilling something on it.

I wore this outfit a couple days ago when I went to see "Snow White and the Huntsmen" with some friends. It was a really great movie, full of awesome scenery and costumes. The only bad part was Kristen Stewart's stupid face. Ugh. She looks forever-distressed and quivering.

I found this dress at Goodwill a couple weeks ago. It's covered in glittery pink ice cream cones. How could I possibly pass that up?! And I even had the perfect pendant to match it.

I've loved having blue hair, but I'm really dying (heh. ha. get it?) to have it purple again. I'm thinking about just bleaching every single strand of my hair and dying them all pretty pretty purple.
