What's In My Bag

I always find it a bit interesting when other bloggers do a "What's In My Bag" post. It's neat to see what people feel is important enough to them to carry around everywhere they go. For me, its mostly electronics, money, and a couple necessities. It's weird to me when girls do these kinds of posts, and don't show what's in that little zippered pocket. C'mon, I know I'm not the only one carrying around tampons and pepper spray.

1.  my Kindle Fire: a lovely christmas present form my parents. It's so nice to have so many books and games and such right there at my fingertips!
2. usb drive: always good for stealing music & movies from friends, or storing school papers on.
3. my beloved 160gb iPod
4. three lipsticks that aren't all lipstick
5. change and cashmoney.
6. my phone, of course

9. epi-pen for my severe peanut allergy.

13. benedryl for allergies, and for when I want to pet kitties without sneezing myself to death.

My tripod recently broke, so I've had to go back to the days of old where I would prop my camera up on random objects trying to get the right angle or height. So if you're wondering why these pictures are taken in three different spots of my house, that would be why!

This skirt is the comfiest thing in the world and I would wear it every single day if I could. It's soft and slightly sheer and I love it.  I've been trying to do pigtail buns after seeing them on Chaplinn of Mini Penny, but I think mine end up looking like Princess Leia got a bit drunk and couldn't get her hair quite right. Alas, I'll keep practicing.

If you believe from these pictures that spring has arrived in Oregon, and that it's suitable weather for a short-sleeved lace shirt, then you have been fooled I still had to throw on a hoodie before I left the house. I wish it would just start being warm and sunny already! Curses!

Satchel Battle Royale

Last week, the strap on my beloved black satchel  broke. It was time for me to buy a new bag anyways, since I needed something that will hold my new laptop. I've been in love with satchels like these for awhile. I think my last two or three purses have been in this style, but they certainly weren't big enough to hold a laptop. So this week, I spent way too much time on the internet looking at satchels of every size, color, and texture, and finally settled on this adorable one:

I'm one of those people who actually really enjoys comparison shopping, whether its for clothes, electronics, or gifts. I just like exploring the interwebs and finding good deals on pretty things. I'm pretty excited for my new satchel, now I just have to wait a week or two for it to make its journey across the Atlantic and into my mailbox!
