Yesterday I dressed up for an impromptu "tiki party in space", complete with pulled pork burritos, rum and juice, and a hilarious game of Cards Against Humanity. It's been really nice not having to worry about homework, twenty-page research papers, and four hour long classes; just relaxing and hanging out with friends. I plan on enjoying this summer break as much as humanly possible!

Outfit- floral, lace, rhinestones and…combat boots

Guess who finally got a new camera? Me me meeeee! I ended up going with the Canon Powershot SX40, but I’ll tell you guys more about that in another post. For now, I’ll just say that I’m super happy with it and the fact that it takes infinitely better pictures than my previous camera!
Continuing my recent obsession with all things sparkly: black glitter headband, purple glitter eyeshadow, purple glitter gauges, and rhinestoned detachable collar!
This is probably the best detachable collar ever. It hooks in the back like a necklace, and is covered with different sized rhinestones. I can even wear it to work, which is nice!

 These boots are super comfy, and go with everything. The store I purchased them at had a “buy one, get one” sale on boots, so I ended also getting the knee-high version of them! Just $35 total! I love me some good deals.

 I realize the last picture is totally tilted and looks like my living room is slanted. My new camera is a bit too heavy for my tripod, so I’ll have to start looking for a nice new tripod, too!

Outfit- Crafty Wonderland

This is what I wore to Crafty Wonderland! After roaming around the fair for a couple hours, Rachele and I went outside and took outfit pics together! It’s always nice having another living human being taking your pictures rather than the tripod that I’m used to! Rachele did an awesome post about both of our outfits, check it out!

It was lots of fun meeting Rachele and taking pictures together! I’m also a bit jealous of her super nice camera. It makes me realize how badly I need a new one! Time to do some research and save some monies!

Outfit- Floral/Black

We finally had a lovely day of sunshine here in Oregon. It was even more unexpected considering that two days ago it snowed almost a whole inch. It was on the first official day of spring, no less!

Tonight I’m going to see Of Montreal play at the Crystal Ballroom. I’m pretty excited! I’ve actually seen them twice already, and both times were amazing. They’re a very theatrical band, lots of props, dancers, and costumes. I can’t wait!

Lately I’ve really been getting into floral patterns, especially when they have shades of pink and purple. I want to buy some more pretty girly floral dresses, and of course, wear combat boots with them.
